Coffee
KSC
will hold its 23rd annual holiday coffee for all NASA and contractor
employees from 9 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 10, at the Debus
Conference Facility, KSC Visitor Complex. Watch for more details
and mark your calendars!
Mission
Update
After
a successful 11-day mission to the Space Station, Endeavour and
crew are expected to land at KSC Wednesday, Dec. 4, about 3:49
p.m. EST. With them will be the Expedition 5 crew, returning to
Earth after 6 months residence on the Station.
STS-112
Crew Return
Commander Jeff Ashby, Pilot Pam Melroy, and Mission Specialists
Dave Wolf, Sandra Magnus and Piers Sellers are currently scheduled
to be at KSC on Friday, Dec. 6, to talk about their mission. Their
presentation to employees will be held in the KSC Training Auditorium
from 1 - 2 p.m.
"The
Space Coast Oral History Project" Speaker Series
The Space Coast chapter of SPAACSE invites you to "The Space
Coast Oral History Project" seventh presentation of its Brevard
Community College Plane-tarium Speaker Series. The presentation
is Wednesday, Dec. 4, from 7 - 8 p.m. at the BCC Planetarium.
Dr. Lori Walters, director of the Florida Space Coast Oral History
Project at UCF, will discuss the value of capturing Bre-vard County's
unique and vital role in missile development and the space program.
Come hear fascinating stories and interviews, and learn how to
preserve Florida's space heritage. Tickets are $5. For more information,

Space Coast Florida Chapter
The Project Management Institute Kick-Off meeting for the new
Space Coast chapter will take place on Dec. 4, at the Co-coa Beach
Holiday Inn, 1300 N. Atlantic Ave. Registra-tion and networking
will take place from 6 - 7 p.m. Presentations concerning the new
chapter formation will follow from 7 - 8 p.m. For additional information,

Cardiovascular
Disease Screening. . .
will be available Wednesday, Dec. 4, from 7 - 8 a.m., at the Occupational
Health Facility; and on Thursday, Dec. 5, from 7 - 8 a.m., Launch
Area Clinic (MFF). No appointment is necessary. Screening will
include blood pressure measurement and blood drawn for analysis
of total cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL and glucose. Fast for
12 hours (no food, water only). If you have any questions, please

Did You Know?
You
can be protected from the most likely causes of epidemic
flu by being vaccinated. Influenza immunization is especially
important to those people with known heart, lung, or kidney
problems, diabetes, anemia or a reduced body resistance
to infection. Employees can visit the KSC clinics as follows:

Area) Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Launch Area Clinic, (KSC LC-39 Area, MFF
Facility) Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. - 3 p.m.
