Shuttle Update
Columbia's rollout to Launch Pad 39A in preparation for mission STS-109 was postponed yesterday due to a steering problem in the crawler-transporter. The problem -- a faulty bearing in the steering linkage of Power Truck Drive D -- was detected before the C-T left the VAB. Rollout has been rescheduled for today, beginning at 6 a.m.

Mission Presentation
The STS-108 Crew will be at KSC today, Jan. 24, to talk with employees about their mission. Their presentation will be held from 1- 2 p.m. in the Mission Briefing Room located in the O&C Building. This will be their only presentation to employees.

Blood Drive
Chris Hinds, Coordinator, Cooperative Education, reports that a NASA-sponsored Blood Donor Drive is scheduled for Jan. 28. The American Red Cross will be accepting donations on Center from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in a Bloodmobile located behind the Headquarters Building Courtyard.
