The Black Employee Strategy Team will host a BBQ at KARS II on
Friday, June 21, for all KSC/CCAFS employees. Food will be served
from 3 to 6 p.m. Tickets must be purchased by June 7! Good food,
plenty of fun, great entertainment (including a steel drum performance),
awesome prizes! If this sounds good, then bring friends and co-workers
and join us for summer fun at the BEST BBQ. Get tickets early
because tickets are limited and will not be sold on the day of
the event. For more information or tickets, please e-mail Stacie.Smith-1@ksc.nasa.gov,
or call 867-5298.
Recycle
KSC Telephone Books
Start by removing the front and back covers of the book and place
all colored pages in your office trash container. Place all white
pages in the outgoing recycle box. Recycling saves resources --
products made with old phone books include paper egg cartons,
paper packing material, envelopes, newsprint, paper towels and
tissue products, animal bedding, and paper for new phone books.
If you have any other questions about recycling old phone books,
please contact Alice Smith at 867-8454 or Hien Nguyen at 867-8455.
