International Space Research Park Scoping Meeting - December
3 -- The Environmental Program Office (EPO) invites KSC
employees to an Inter-national Space Research Scoping Meeting
at 11 a.m., Dec. 3, in the KSC Training Auditorium. NASA is proposing
entering into an agreement with the State of Florida, through
the Florida Space Authority, to develop an International Space
Research Park (ISRP) on KSC. The goal of the park is to provide
an opportunity for appropriate commercial, research and educational
interests to develop new, state-of-the-art facilities to promote
the expanded use of space. An Environmental Impact Statement (EIS)
addressing the impacts of the proposed development on two alternative
sites on KSC is being prepared and will be discussed. Employees
are invited to attend this meeting, bringing concerns, issues
and questions. Check out what KSC is planning on proposing. A
web site has been established for the ISRP, http://researchpark.ksc.nasa.gov
(select the Environmental link), for your information and use.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Mario Busacca,
867-8456, or Barbara Naylor, 867-8452.

Occupational Health Facility, (KSC Industrial Area)
Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
