KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. -– One by one, the crewmembers of STS-100 made their final preparations in the White Room at the launch pad and entered the Orbiter. The Closeout Crew - a team of employees who work at the launch pad - then strapped the crew into their seats and  sealed the hatch.
