KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. -– Space Shuttle Atlantis lights up the pre-dawn sky over Central Florida. STS-104 began with a flawless on-time liftoff from Kennedy Space Center's Launch pad 39B. The launch is the 10th assembly flight to the International Space Station. Along with a crew of five, Atlantis will carry the joint airlock module as primary payload.
