KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. -– The Joint Airlock and high pressure gas assembly have been secured in Shuttle Atlantis' payload bay in preparation for the launch of STS-104. The primary focus of the mission is to install the Joint Airlock on the International Space Station, allowing astronauts to perform spacewalks without the presence of a Space Shuttle.
