KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. -– Space Shuttle Discovery touched down on Runway 33 at 2:23 p.m. EDT, successfully wrapping up a 4.3 million mile journey and returning the Expedition Two crew to Earth. During mission STS-105, the Early Ammonia Servicer (EAS) tank, which will support the thermal control subsystems until a permanent system is activated, was attached to the International Space Station during two spacewalks. Discovery also carried the Expedition Three crew to the Station to replace the returning Expedition Two crew.
