| KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. -– Gathered
for a second day, the STS-108 crew again enjoy a pre-launch snack
featuring a cake with the mission patch. Seated left to right are
Mission Specialists Daniel M. Tani and Linda A. Godwin, Pilot Mark
E. Kelly and Commander Dominic L. Gorie; the Expedition 4 crew Commander
Yuri Onufrienko and astronauts Carl E. Walz and Daniel W. Bursch.
Top priorities for the STS-108 (UF-1) mission of Endeavour are rotation
of the International Space Station Expedition 3 and Expedition 4
crews; bringing water, equipment and supplies to the station in
the Multi-Purpose Logistics Module Raffaello; and the crew's completion
of robotics tasks and a spacewalk to install thermal blankets over
two pieces of equipment at the bases of the Space Station's solar
wings. |
