KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. -– About two minutes after launch, the Solid Rocket Boosters jettison from Shuttle Endeavour as it continues its climb to orbit. Two NASA ships waiting in the Atlantic Ocean will recover the spent boosters and bring them back to Cape Canaveral Air Force Station for refurbishment. On mission STS-108, Endeavour will be transporting the Expedition Four crew and several payloads and scientific experiments to the International Space Station.
