NASA Test Director Pete Nickolenko and STS-112 Payload Mission
Manager Gennaro Caliendo report Space Shuttle Atlantis, the
crew and payloads are ready for launch. Kathy Winters, Shuttle
Weather Officer, reiterates that Hurricane Lili remains a major
concern for Johnson Space Center in Houston, the home of Mission
Control. On STS-112, Atlantis will carry the S1 Integrated Truss
Structure, the first starboard truss segment, to be attached
to the central truss segment, S0, and the Crew and Equipment
Translation Aid (CETA) Cart A.
