KENNEDY
SPACE CENTER, Fla. -–
Jim Halsell, SHuttle Launch Integration Manager, and Mike Leinbach,
Shuttle Launch Director, report that the countdown is proceeding
smoothly, although two technical issues are in work. According
to Kathy Winters, Shuttle Weather Officer, KSC weather has been
upgraded to an 80% chance of favorable weather at launch time.
On STS-112, Atlantis will carry the S1 Integrated Truss Structure,
the first starboard truss segment, to be attached to the central
truss segment, S0, and the Crew and Equipment Translation Aid
(CETA) Cart A.
