KENNEDY
SPACE CENTER, Fla. -– The STS-112 crew members venture out of
the Crew Transport Vehicle, greet NASA officials, and look over
the orbiter before departing for Astronaut Crew Quarters. Space
Shuttle Atlantis touched down at 11:44
a.m. EDT
at the Shuttle Landing Facility, completing the 4.5-million-mile
journey to the International Space Station. STS-112
was the 15th assembly flight to the International Space Station,
carrying the S1 Integrated Truss Structure, the first starboard
truss segment, to be attached to the central truss segment,
S0, and the Crew and Equipment Translation Aid (CETA) Cart A.
