Image: Montage of Vehicle Assembly Building with American Flag and shuttles landing.KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. -– The Capcom in Mission Control at Johnson Space Center notifies the STS-112 crew of scattered clouds in the area of the KSC area. Astronaut Kent Rominger is flying the Shuttle Training Aircraft at KSC and observes that the clouds are not a concern for landing. STS-112 was the 15th assembly flight to the International Space Station, carrying the S1 Integrated Truss Structure, the first starboard truss segment, to be attached to the central truss segment, S0, and the Crew and Equipment Translation Aid (CETA) Cart A.
