SPACE CENTER, Fla. -–
Due to the threat that Hurricane Lili may make landfall near
the Houston area, where Johnson Space Center is located, the
launch of Atlantis on STS-112 has been delayed. It is the first
time weather at JSC has impacted a launch. On STS-112, Atlantis
will carry the S1 Integrated Truss Structure, the first starboard
truss segment, to be attached to the central truss segment,
S0, and the Crew and Equipment Translation Aid (CETA) Cart A.
