MISSION: STS-66 -- ATLAS-3/CRISTA-SPAS VEHICLE: Atlantis/OV-104 LOCATION: Edwards Air Force Base, Calif. LAUNCH DATE and TIME: Nov. 3 at 11:59 a.m. EST EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE LANDING DATE and TIME: Nov. 14 at 10:34 a.m. EST MISSION DURATION: 10 days/22 hours/34 minutes The orbiter Atlantis is scheduled to depart Edwards Air Force Base on Sunday with arrival at KSC's Shuttle Landing Facility set for Monday, Nov. 21. Atlantis will depart California at first light Sunday and remain overnight at a yet to be determined location. Arrival at Kennedy Space Center on Monday is expected around mid-day. Final post flight reports indicated a total of 148 hits occurred on the orbiter's various surfaces, of which 28 had a major dimension of one inch or greater. One further note of interest: The waste water dump ice deposit on the forward section of the left-hand payload bay door, as observed during on-orbit videos, was still attached after landing and measured about 8 inches by 4 inches by 2 inches.
