NOTE: Columbia, riding atop the 747 Shuttle Carrier Aircraft, departed Kennedy Space Center's Shuttle Landing Facility at 8:45 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, and arrived in Huntsville, Ala., where it remained Saturday and Sunday nights. The orbiter/SCA departed Huntsville today at about 8:05 a.m. EDT for Ellington Field, Houston, Tx., to refuel before continuing the trip to Palmdale, Calif., where it will undergo a scheduled six-month orbiter maintenance down period. When Columbia returns to KSC early next year, processing will begin for mission STS-73 scheduled for launch in late summer 1995.
