      KENNEDY SPACE CENTER SPACE SHUTTLE STATUS REPORT TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 28, 1995 (11:05 AM EST) MISSION: STS-72 -- SFU-Retrieval & OAST-Flyer VEHICLE: Endeavour/OV-105 LOCATION: Orbiter Processing Facility Bay 3 TARGET LAUNCH DATE/TIME: Jan. 11 at 4:18 a.m. EST LAUNCH WINDOW: 60 minutes TARGET KSC LANDING DATE/TIME: Jan. 20 at 2:54 a.m. MISSION DURATION: 8 days, 22 hours, 36 minutes CREW SIZE: 6 ORBITAL ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 288 statute miles/28.45 degrees NOTE: Work continues today to prepare Endeavour for rollover to the Vehicle Assembly Building at about 10 a.m. Wednesday. The payload bay doors have been closed and the vehicle is resting on the orbiter transporter. Final preparations in work today include topping off pressure in the landing gear tires and making final weight and center of gravity assessments. The orbiter will be disconnected from the Orbiter Processing Facility purge systems tonight. KEY STS-72 OPERATIONAL MILESTONES (dates are target only): * Roll to Vehicle Assembly Building (10 a.m. Wednesday) * Rollout to pad 39B (Dec. 5) * Main engine flight readiness tests (Dec. 6-7) * Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test ( Dec. 11-12) MISSION: STS-75 -- TETHERED SATELLITE-1R & USMP-3 VEHICLE: Columbia/OV-102 LOCATION: Orbiter Processing Facility bay 2 TARGET LAUNCH DATE: Feb. 22 TARGET KSC LANDING DATE: March 7 MISSION DURATION: 13 days, 16 hours CREW SIZE: 7 ORBITAL ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 184 statute miles/28.45 degrees NOTE: Work today includes servicing the Freon coolant loops on Columbia and preparing to remove the forward reaction control system for transport to the Hypergolic Maintenance Facility for post-flight assessments and to remove and replace a faulty thruster. KEY STS-75 OPERATIONAL MILESTONES (dates are target only): * Install main engines (Dec. 12) * Install forward reaction control system (Dec. 19) MISSION: STS-76 -- 3rd MIR DOCKING VEHICLE: Atlantis/OV-104 LOCATION: Orbiter Processing Facility bay 1 TARGET LAUNCH DATE: March 21 TARGET KSC LANDING DATE: March 30 MISSION DURATION: 10 days (+1) CREW SIZE: 6 up -- 5 down ORBITAL ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 196-245 statute miles/51.6 degrees NOTE: Operations in work today include preparations for the functional test of the forward reaction control system and preparations to remove the IMAX camera and orbiter docking system from the payload bay later this week. Also, the tires, wheels and brakes will be removed today and preparations made for hydraulic operations which are scheduled to begin tomorrow. The payload bay doors are open and the aft access platforms have been installed.
