Testing of the fuel cell system is in work. The payload bay is being prepared for the Spacelab Life and Mircrogravity Science Laboratory. On Friday, TACAN No. 1 did not pass functional testing and today it is being removed and replaced. Also on Friday the drag chute door and the nose landing gear wheel and tire assembly were installed. Tile waterproofing was completed over the weekend period. In the Vehicle Assembly Building, stacking of the left solid rocket booster begins today with the hoisting of the left aft segment onto the mobile launcher platform. STS-76 Landing of Atlantis occurred at 8:29 a.m. EST on Sunday on Runway 22 at Edwards Air Force Base in California. The time-critical science experiments were removed while Atlantis was on the runway. Tow of the orbiter from the runway began at 5:35 p.m. EST and was completed at 7:23 p.m. EST. The orbiter is being jacked and leveled today. Access into the aft main engine compartment will be established tonight. The ferry flight back to KSC will begin on Friday morning and is being planned as a one-day flight, weather permitting.
