FERRY FLIGHT UPDATE

April 11, 1996  -  1:30 PM

The orbiter Atlantis atop the Shuttle Carrier Aircraft departed Edwards Air 
Force Base, Calif. at 12 noon EDT and arrived at Davis-Monthan AFB, Tucson, 
Az. at 1:20 p.m. EDT. The SCA will be refueled and ready for departure on 
the next leg of its trip back to KSC at about 3:30 p.m. EDT. The next stop 
is still being discussed and further updates will follow once the decision 
is made. The earliest we expect to see the vehicle back at KSC is
about mid-morning Friday.
