      KENNEDY SPACE CENTER SPACE SHUTTLE STATUS REPORT FERRY FLIGHT UPDATE April 12, 1996 1:45 PM Ferry flight status #7 (Final Status Report) The orbiter Atlantis riding atop the modified 747 Shuttle Carrier Aircraft (SCA) landed at KSC’s Shuttle Landing Facility runway 15 at 1:41 p.m. today after departing Eglin AFB, Fla., at about 12:22 p.m. EDT today. Once Atlantis is demated from the SCA (later tonight), it will be towed to Orbiter Processing Facility bay 1. Towing operations are expected to begin Saturday morning. No significant impacts to the overall schedule for Atlantis’ next flight, STS-79, is anticipated due to the unexpected delay in Atlantis returning back to KSC for processing.
