The payload interface verification test began this weekend and will be completed today. IN WORK TODAY: * Preparations for Space Shuttle main engines flight readiness test KEY STS-75 OPERATIONAL MILESTONES (dates are target only): * Space Shuttle main engine flight readiness test (Tuesday) * Launch readiness review (Tuesday) * Load hypergolic reactants onboard vehicle (Thursday) * Flight readiness review (Friday) * Helium signature test (Friday) MISSION: STS-76 -- 3rd MIR DOCKING VEHICLE: Atlantis/OV-104 LOCATION: Orbiter Processing Facility Bay 1 TARGET LAUNCH DATE/TIME: March 21 at about 3:35 a.m. LAUNCH WINDOW: about 6 minutes TARGET KSC LANDING DATE/TIME: March 30 at about 8:05 a.m. MISSION DURATION: 9 days, 4 hours CREW SIZE: 6 up -- 5 down ORBITAL ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 184 statute miles/51.6 degrees NOTE: Installation of the spacehab tunnel is complete and the crew module, tunnel adapter and orbiter docking system leak checks were successfully conducted this weekend. The orbiter docking system mechanical functional test is in work today. In the Vehicle Assembly Building, the external tank is being mated to the solid rocket boosters. The forward reaction control system functional check is complete. The orbital maneuvering system will continue testing today.
