      KENNEDY SPACE CENTER SPACE SHUTTLE STATUS REPORT THURSDAY, JANUARY 25, 1996 (1:32 PM EST) MISSION: STS-75 -- TETHERED SATELLITE-1R & USMP-3 VEHICLE: Columbia/OV-102 LOCATION: Vehicle Assembly Building TARGET LAUNCH DATE/TIME: Feb. 22 at 3:18 p.m. LAUNCH WINDOW: 2 hours, 30 minutes TARGET KSC LANDING DATE/TIME: March 7 at 7:32 a.m. MISSION DURATION: 13 days, 16 hours CREW SIZE: 7 ORBITAL ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 184 statute miles/28.45 degrees NOTE: The vehicle was mated to the external tank yesterday in the Vehicle Assembly Building. The Shuttle interface verification test will begin Friday. The payload was delivered to the pad yesterday. Today it will be transferred into the Payload Changeout Room and await Columbia’s arrival Monday morning. IN WORK TODAY: * Preparations for Shuttle interface verification test * Access Columbia’s aft engine compartment KEY STS-75 OPERATIONAL MILESTONES (dates are target only): * Roll out to pad 39B (first motion at about 3 a.m. on Monday) * Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test (Feb. 1-2) * Flight readiness review (Feb. 9) MISSION: STS-76 -- 3rd MIR DOCKING VEHICLE: Atlantis/OV-104 LOCATION: Orbiter Processing Facility Bay 1 TARGET LAUNCH DATE/TIME: March 21 at about 3:34 a.m. LAUNCH WINDOW: about 6 minutes TARGET KSC LANDING DATE/TIME: March 30 at about 7:39 a.m. MISSION DURATION: 9 days CREW SIZE: 6 up -- 5 down ORBITAL ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 184 statute miles/51.6 degrees NOTE: Pre-installation check-outs of the Orbiter Docking System is in work today. Engines 1 and 2 are mechanically installed and being electrically hooked-up today. Engine 3 will be installed tonight. KEY STS-76 OPERATIONAL MILESTONES (dates are target only): * Install Orbiter Docking System (Friday) * Crew equipment interface test (Feb. 8) MISSION: STS-77 -- SPACEHAB-4 & SPARTAN 207 VEHICLE: Endeavour/OV-105 LOCATION: Orbiter Processing Facility bay 3 TARGET LAUNCH DATE/TIME: May 16 at 6:32 a.m. TARGET KSC LANDING DATE/TIME: May 26 at 8:42 a.m. MISSION DURATION: 10 days CREW SIZE: 6 ORBITAL ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 176 statute miles/39 degrees NOTE: The payload bay doors are open and preparations underway for the removal of the OAST-Flyer and the Japanese satellite retrieved during the mission. The payloads are scheduled to be lifted out of the orbiter’s mid-body this weekend. Tests of the Flash Evaporator System are in work today. IN WORK TODAY: * Payload bay door latch functional tests * Preparations to deservice hypergolic reactants KEY STS-77 OPERATIONAL MILESTONES (dates are target only): * Remove payloads (Saturday) * Complete hypergolic deservicing (Jan. 31) * Remove main engines (Feb. 16)
