      Issues and Concerns:  The KSC Launch Readiness Review for STS-77 was
      held in the Mission Briefing Room this morning.  There were no issues
      and concerns which have not already been addressed and are closed. 
      KSC will continue to target May 16 as the launch date until the
      agency’s Flight Readiness Review is held next week on Tuesday.  Since
      all prelaunch activities are on schedule at this time, no work at the
      pad is planned over the weekend.
      
      
      STS-78/OV-102/Columbia
      Life and Microgravity Spacelab

      	The orbiter hydraulic systems are being tested.  The TACAN
      navigational system used during landing is also undergoing testing
      today.  The Spacelab access tunnel will be installed on Saturday.  In
      the Vehicle Assembly Building, the external tank is being mated to
      the solid rocket boosters.
      
      
      STS-79/OV-104/Atlantis

      OPF Bay 1
      
      	The orbital maneuvering system pod functional test and the
      auxiliary power unit leak and functional check are underway.  The
      water spray boilers are also being tested.  The Global Positioning
      System modification continues.  Tile waterproofing work is scheduled
      for this weekend.
