Rollout is scheduled to begin at 2 a.m. tomorrow. The 4.2-mile trip to the pad will be completed shortly after sunrise. At the pad, auxiliary power unit no. 1 will be powered-up and run briefly. Following this "hot fire," the Rotating Service Structure will be closed around the vehicle and workers will begin a flight readiness test of the main propulsion system. Operations are in work to prepare the orbiter for main engine installation beginning Thursday. The payload bay doors will be closed later tonight for about a week for scheduled thermal protection system work.
