LOCATION: Pad 39B
TARGET LAUNCH DATE/TIME: November 8 at 2:47 p.m.
LAUNCH WINDOW: 2 hours, 30 minutes
TARGET KSC LANDING DATE/TIME: November 24 at 7:31 a.m.
MISSION DURATION: 15 days, 16 hours, 48 minutes
CREW: Cockrell, Rominger, Jernigan, Jones, Musgrave
ORBITAL ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 219 statute miles/28.45 degrees

NOTE: The helium signature leak check of the main propulsion system
was successfully conducted yesterday. Today, preparations are in work
to load hypergolic reactants into the orbiter. Hypergolic loading is
set for Thursday and Friday. The Terminal Countdown Demonstration
Test with the crew of mission STS-80 continues today. The crew
boarded the orbiter at about 8:30 a.m. and remained on board until
the simulated main engine cut-off at about 11 a.m. The crew will
depart for their homes in Houston at 2 p.m. today.

NOTE: Main engine removal is complete. Functional tests of the
forward reaction control system continue today. Wiring harnesses for
APU No. 2 are being replaced today. Drag chute installation is
complete to date and will resume on Friday.

ORBITAL ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 360 statute miles/28.45 degrees

NOTE: Main engine installation is complete. Work to secure the
engines continues this week. The payload bay doors are closed for
scheduled thermal protection system work. Servicing of the ammonia
boiler system is set to begin on Friday.
