NOTE: The STS-84 crew arrived at KSC on Sunday to participate in the terminal countdown demonstration test. TCDT is scheduled to end at 11 a.m. Tuesday with the crew in the orbiter at the pad and with a simulated main engine cutoff. Atlantis' engine flight readiness test was completed this weekend and the "pyro can" assembly plates were successfully fit checked with additional fabricated clamps on Saturday. Installation of the fabricated parts into the orbiter's aft compartment could occur as early as Tuesday. Helium signature tests are also in work today.

Installation of the Spacehab payload into Atlantis' cargo bay is underway.

NOTE: On Friday, Shuttle managers officially announced that Columbia would refly the shortened STS-83 mission in early July. The reflight mission will now be called STS-94. Replacement of two thrusters on Columbia's forward reaction control system (FRCS) is complete. Electrical hook-up work continues on the FRCS in the Hypergol Maintenance Facility. The FRCS should return to the OPF in early May to be reinstalled on the orbiter. Postflight work on Columbia's auxiliary power units continues through Tuesday. Spacelab reservicing activities also continue.

STS-94 booster stacking operations continue with the right forward segment arriving in the Vehicle Assembly Building today. The right forward center segment was successfully mated over the weekend and joint close-outs are in work today.

NOTE: Discovery's forward reaction control system will undergo interface verification tests tomorrow. Payload premate activities continue through next week.

STS-85 SCHEDULED OPERATIONAL MILESTONES (dates are target only):

ENDEAVOUR (OV-105) NOTE: Last week, Shuttle managers decided to fly the Space Shuttle Atlantis on mission STS-86 instead of Endeavour in order to preserve a September launch date. Endeavour is located in Orbiter Processing Facility bay 3. Work to deservice the orbiter's freon coolant loop will continue through today. Removal of the FRCS simulator and left hand orbiter maneuvering system simulator continues through Wednesday.
