NOTE: After a day of orbiter rotation maneuvers, Discovery continues to provide a stable platform for science investigations on mission STS-85. The Space Shuttle is in excellent condition and mission managers are not working any significant problems.

At Hangar AF, the solid rocket motor nozzles are being removed from the boosters today for shipment to Utah. The nozzles will arrive in Utah early next week for inspection.

NOTE: In the Vehicle Assembly Building, the Shuttle Interface Test is under way and continues through Friday. Atlantis will roll out to Pad 39A at 2 a.m. Monday, Aug. 18 and should be hard down at 8 a.m. The Spacehab payload is scheduled to arrive at the launch pad on Aug. 28.

• ORBITAL ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 150 nautical miles/28.45 degrees

NOTE: Functional testing of the Shuttle's aft and main propulsion systems continue. Saturday, technicians will remove Columbia's oxidizer cross-feed line from the orbiter maneuvering system to isolate the line and complete draining activities. Once the line is clear, leak checks and repair work will follow next week.
