
STS-86 -- 7th MIR DOCKING & SPACEHAB DM
NOTE: At Pad 39A, main propulsion system ball seal leak checks and helium signature leak checks are complete and good. Preparations continue for tomorrow's loading of hypergolic reactants. Atlantis' midbody umbilical unit will be mated Friday and the Spacehab payload will be transferred to the pad Sept. 3.
STS-86 SCHEDULED OPERATIONAL MILESTONES (dates are target only):
STS-87 -- U.S. MICROGRAVITY PAYLOAD-4NOTE: Repair of Columbia's oxidizer cross-feed line is complete and leak checks are in work today. Leak checks on fuel cell No. 2 are complete and good. Work to install the Shuttle's drag chute is under way. The auxiliary power units are undergoing leak and functional tests and reservicing of Columbia's freon coolant loop No. 2 is also slated for this week. Midbody fuel cell monitoring modifications begin this week and Columbia's window No. 7 is slated for replacement.

STS-89 -- 8th MIR DOCKING & SPACEHAB DM
NOTE: Flushing of Endeavour's ammonia boiler is complete and gaseous nitrogen purging is scheduled for today. Main propulsion system leak and functional testing will occur today and preparations for tomorrow's installation of fuel cell No. 2 are in work.
STS-91 -- 9th MIR DOCKING & SPACEHAB DMNOTE: Discovery's payload bay doors are open and payload removal is slated for tomorrow. Post-flight inspections of the orbiter's thrusters, main propulsion system and main engines are under way.
