
STS-86 -- 7th MIR DOCKING & SPACEHAB DM
NOTE: Loading of hypergolic fuels into Atlantis' power reactant storage and distribution system began last night and will conclude tomorrow. In the Shuttle's aft compartment, the pyrotechnic canister assemblies will be installed at the external tank/orbiter attach points later this week. The Shuttle's payload bay doors will be opened on Sept. 5 to support vertical payload installation. The Spacehab payload is now slated for delivery to Pad 39A on Sept. 4.

STS-87 -- U.S. MICROGRAVITY PAYLOAD-4NOTE: Leak checks on Columbia's oxidizer cross-feed line are complete and good. Leak checks on the main propulsion system will conclude tonight and inspections of the sector seals on the rudder speed brake are underway. Installation of the remote manipulator system is in work today and weight saving modifications to the orbiter's elevons continue.

NOTE: Gaseous nitrogen purging of the ammonia boiler is complete and servicing begins on Friday. Leak checks are in work on Endeavour's auxiliary power units No. 2 and No. 3. Preparations continue for installation of fuel cell No. 2 on Thursday. Modifications of the orbiter's left and right elevon coves continue through next week and body flap repair work concludes Thursday.
STS-91 -- 9th MIR DOCKING & SPACEHAB DMNOTE: Removal of the CRISTA-SPAS payload from Discovery's payload was completed yesterday. Deservicing of the Shuttle's orbiter maneuvering system begins Thursday. Post-flight window inspections reveal a potential need to replace window No. 5.
