      • CREW: Bowersox, Horowitz, Lee, Hawley, Harbaugh, Smith, Tanner

      NOTE: The payloads were installed into the pad's payload change-out room yesterday. Today, the Rotating Service Structure was moved back around the orbiter allowing for the orbiter's payload bay doors to be opened for payload installation tomorrow. This weekend, workers will remove and replace the solid rocket booster nozzle plugs from the SRBs at the pad. This is a pad clear operation but is not expected to affect pre-flight operations.

      NOTE: Work is underway to install the Space Shuttle main engines today and tomorrow. Payload premate tests and tests on the Ku-band antenna are also in work today. The tunnel adapter will be installed into the payload bay later tomorrow and the Microgravity Science Laboratory will be installed on Thursday. The external tank will be mated with the solid rocket boosters on Thursday.

      NOTE: The payload bay doors are open and access to the aft engine compartment continues in work. The Spacehab payload is scheduled to be removed tomorrow. Engineers are discussing a drop in chamber pressure on auxiliary power units No. 3 that occurred about 15 minutes following landing. This may result in a decision to remove and replace the APU prior to the next flight of Atlantis.
