NOTE: Discovery was rolled over to the Vehicle Assembly Building yesterday at about 10:45 a.m. Overnight the orbiter was mated to the external tank and solid rocket booster stack. Electrical and mechanical hook-ups are currently underway. The shuttle interface test is scheduled to begin Thursday and conclude Friday. Roll out to Pad 39A is set for Monday.
STS-85 SCHEDULED OPERATIONAL MILESTONES (dates are target only):
STS-86 -- 7th MIR DOCKING & SPACEHAB DM
NOTE: Shuttle main engine securing and mid-body close-outs continue today. A functional test validating the orbiter docking system is complete and good. Fuel cell No. 2 must be replaced due to failed leak checks. Removal of the fuel cell from the orbiter's payload bay mid-body is in work today. Tests and vacuum checks continue on water spray boiler No. 3.

STS-89 -- 8th MIR DOCKING & SPACEHAB DMNOTE: Leak checks on the main propulsion system are in work and servicing of Endeavour's freon coolant loop No. 2 is complete. Work to replace window No. 6 and modifications to the orbiter's elevon coves continue in work this week. Preparations to remove the liquid oxygen 17-inch umbilical began today.
