
STS-94 -- Microgravity Science Laboratory-1 (image)
NOTE: The orbiter midbody umbilical unit used to load cryogenic reactants aboard the orbiter is being connected today. Tile work on the forward reaction control system went well over the weekend and continues today. The plan is on or slightly ahead of schedule. The helium signature leak test is scheduled for Tuesday and loading of the storable hypergolic propellants aboard Columbia is scheduled for Thursday. Repair work to wiring in avionics bay No. 4 will continue through Wednesday.

STS-85 -- CRISTA-SPAS-2 (image)
NOTE: The Crew Equipment Interface Test was performed on Saturday. There were no significant issues raised by the astronauts. Functional testing of the external tank umbilical doors is complete. A functional test of the brakes and nose wheel steering is scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday.
In the Vehicle Assembly Building, stacking of the right solid rocket booster has been completed. This finishes the booster stacking activities. Mating of the external tank to the solid rocket boosters will be performed later this week.
STS-85 SCHEDULED OPERATIONAL MILESTONES (dates are target only):
STS-86 -- 7th MIR DOCKING & SPACEHAB DM
NOTE: Fuel cell No. 3 is installed, electrical hookups are complete and the electrical verification checks are being performed today. The orbital maneuvering system pod functional checks continue. Drag chute mechanical installation is complete and electrical hook-ups are being performed today. Window polishing continues. The thermal barriers will be installed later this week.
STS-89 -- 8th MIR DOCKING & SPACEHAB DMNOTE: Preparations are underway for deservicing freon coolant loop No. 2. Testing of the communications systems continues. Leak checks of the main propulsion system are also in work.
