
STS-94 -- Microgravity Science Laboratory-1 (image)
NOTE: The helium signature leak test is complete and loading of storable hypergolic propellants aboard Columbia will begin early tomorrow morning. Tile installation work on the forward reaction control system is complete, with all 36 tiles bonded to the vehicle. Bond verification checks will begin after the loading of hypergolic propellants. The STS-94 Flight Readiness Review will begin at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow and Shuttle managers are expected to announce the official launch date at the conclusion of the meeting.

NOTE: Functional tests of Discovery's brakes and nose wheel steering will conclude today. Close-out work on the orbiter's body flap continues through Friday. Preparations are in work for payload bay door closure scheduled to occur next week.
In the Vehicle Assembly Building, joint close-outs on the right-hand solid rocket booster are in work. Mating of the external tank to the booster stack is scheduled for Friday.

NOTE: Drag chute installation is complete. Fuel cell voltage tests started yesterday and will be completed by tonight. The orbital maneuvering system pod functional checks continue through Friday. Replacement of window No. 1 is in work and other window polishing will continue through Monday.
STS-89 -- 8th MIR DOCKING & SPACEHAB DMNOTE: Deservicing of freon coolant loop No. 2 continues through Friday. Troubleshooting of freon coolant loop No. 1 also continues.
