
STS-94 -- Microgravity Science Laboratory-1 (image)
NOTE: Yesterday afternoon, following the STS-94 Flight Readiness Review, NASA managers announced July 1 as the official launch date for Columbia's reflight of the Microgravity Science Laboratory-1 mission.
Loading of storable hypergolic propellants aboard Columbia continues through tonight. Tile installation work on the forward reaction control system is complete, with all 36 tiles bonded to the vehicle. Bond verification checks will begin after the loading of hypergolic propellants. In Columbia's aft compartment, work to install the fabricated "pyro can" assemblies at the orbiter's external tank attach points concludes Saturday.

NOTE: Integrated hydraulic testing continues. Potable water servicing and thermal protection system (TPS) waterproofing are both in work today. Fit checks for the TPS tiles on Discovery's forward reaction control system continue and tile installation is being worked concurrently. Preparations are in work for payload bay door closure scheduled to occur next week. In the Vehicle Assembly Building, work is underway to mate the external tank to the solid rocket boosters.

STS-86 -- 7th MIR DOCKING & SPACEHAB DM
NOTE: The orbital maneuvering system pod functional checks continue through Monday. Window No. 1 is installed and polishing of Atlantis' other windows will continue through Monday. Radiator functional testing is in work.
STS-89 -- 8th MIR DOCKING & SPACEHAB DMNOTE: Preparations are in work for servicing of freon coolant loop No. 2. Radiator functional tests are scheduled for next week. Testing of Discovery's atmospheric revitalization pressure control system is underway.
