NOTE: The STS-83 Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test (TCDT) continues with a mock launch countdown culminating in a simulated main engine cutoff at 11 a.m. today.

Preparations to replace a low pressure fuel turbo pump on main engine No. 1 are complete and the spare pump is ready for installation. Due to high winds last night, the fuel pump replacement will be worked in tandem with SRB nozzle plug work through the weekend.

NOTE: Orbiter Docking System functional checks continue today and should be complete tonight. Borescope inspections of Atlantis' three main engines are complete and no fuel pump anomolies were found.

NOTE: Check-outs of the orbital maneuvering system and reaction control system continue. Preparations for Space Shuttle main engine removal also continue. Hydraulic system inspection is in work today.
