
STS-84 -- 6th MIR DOCKING & SPACEHAB DM (image)NOTE: Main propulsion system purge activities are complete. Preparations are in work for ordinance installation tonight and countdown preparations are also underway. Close-out activities continue in Atlantis' aft compartment. At the pad yesterday, a work stand contacted a battery cable that provides power to an accelerometer on the right SRB. A technician noted electrical arcing between the platform and the cable. The cable has been changed out and work to replace the battery is scheduled for today. The payload interface verification test continues through tonight.

STS-94 -- Microgravity Science Laboratory-1 (image)NOTE: Due to extended work on Columbia's body flap, Space Shuttle main engine installation is now slated for Friday and Saturday. Fuel cell voltage tests are complete. Installation of auxiliary power unit No. 3 is in work and preparations are under way for installation of auxiliary power unit No. 2. The forward reaction control system is slated for installation this weekend. In the VAB, preparations are underway for next week's planned external tank/solid rocket booster mating activities. Spacelab reservicing is wrapping up today and experiment testing will begin tomorrow.

STS-85 -- CRISTA-SPAS-2NOTE: Cycling of Discovery's external tank doors is in progress today. Work continues on the orbiter's body flap and main engine installation begins early next week. Payload premate activities continue through tomorrow and midbody close-outs are in work.

STS-88 -- ISS-01-2AENDEAVOUR (OV-105) NOTE: Endeavour is located in Orbiter Processing Facility bay 3. Validation of the orbiter's electrical system is complete for this week, but will pickup again next week. Orbiter coolant loop servicing continues. Removal of the right hand orbiter maneuvering system simulator is in work through Wednesday.
