About 7,000 pounds of supplies, experiments and water were transferred between the two vehicles. Atlantis drifted away leaving astronaut Mike Foale as Jerry Linenger's replacement aboard Mir. Forecasters expect acceptable weather conditions at KSC to support a target landing time of 7:52 a.m. on Saturday. A second landing opportunity at KSC occurs at 9:28 a.m.
The crew of STS-84 are: Commander Charles Precourt, Pilot Eileen Collins and Mission Specialists Jean-Francois Clervoy, Carlos Noriega, Edward Lu, Elena Kondakova, Michael Foale (up) and Jerry Linenger (down).
