      • MIR DOCKING TIME: Sept. 27 at 5:30 p.m. EDT
      • UNDOCKING TIME: Oct. 3 at 11:46 a.m. EDT
      • TARGET KSC LANDING DATE/TIME: Oct. 5 at about 6:56 p.m.
      • MISSION DURATION: 9 days, 20 hours, 22 minutes
      • CREW: Wetherbee, Bloomfield, Parazynski, Titov, Chretien, Lawrence, Wolf (up), Foale (down)
      • ORBITAL ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 160 nautical miles/51.6 degrees

      NOTE: Operations continue on schedule for the launch of Atlantis next week. Ordnance connections and checks are complete and the space suits to be used by Parazynski and Titov during their planned space walk have been installed into the orbiter's airlock. These suits will be checked-out later today. Aft engine compartment close-outs will continue through tonight with aft door installation scheduled for midnight. Also, the orbiter's payload bay doors are scheduled to be closed for flight tonight.

      • TARGET KSC LANDING DATE/TIME: Dec. 5 at 6:51 a.m.
      • MISSION DURATION: 15 days, 16 hours, 33 minutes
      • CREW: Kregel, Lindsey, Scott, Chawla, Doi, Kadenyuk
      • ORBITAL ALTITUDE and INCLINATION: 150 nautical miles/28.45 degrees

      NOTE: Checkouts continue this week on the orbiter's water spray boilers. Installation of Columbia's main engines is slated to begin Sept. 23.
