
STS-90 -- NEUROLAB
NOTE: Work on the orbiter's main engine heat shield attach points is complete and installation of the main engines is now in work. The Neurolab transfer tunnel has been installed and mechanical mates are in work today. Tomorrow, the STS-90 crew will participate in the crew equipment and interface test (CEIT) and a sharp edge inspection of the orbiter's crew module and Neurolab. Also tomorrow, the external tank is scheduled to be mated to the solid rocket boosters in the Vehicle Assembly Building.

NOTE: Modifications to the orbiter's airlock and check-outs of the orbiter's body flap continue. Installation of Discovery's right-hand orbiter maneuvering system is set for Thursday. In the Vehicle Assembly Building, stacking operations for Discovery's solid rocket boosters have begun.
