Workers removed the
SPACEHAB module from Atlantis payload bay on Monday, and main engine heat shield
removal is also complete. Technicians plan to begin removal of the Shuttles three
main engines tonight. Checks of the forward reaction control system are scheduled to begin
later this week. Over the weekend, workers will drain residual reactants from the orbiter
maneuvering system and auxiliary power unit lines.
