The main landing gear touched down on SLF runway 15 at 2:20:17 a.m. and the nose landing gear followed at 2:20:30 a.m. With the aid of its drag chute, Atlantis came to a complete stop at 2:21:19 a.m. Following routine safing and offloading efforts, managers expect Atlantis to arrive at Orbiter Processing Facility bay 3 by about 6 a.m. today. While in the Shuttle hangar, technicians will begin an expedited turnaround of Atlantis for mission STS-106.

The flight crew will remain overnight at KSC and depart for their homes in Houston, Texas, Tuesday morning. STS-101 marked the 14th nighttime landing in Shuttle history and the 22nd consecutive landing at KSC.
