Processing Note  (previous notes)

Post-launch inspections at Launch Pad 39A revealed no abnormal damage to the Fixed Service Structure, Mobile Launcher Platform and Rotating Service Structure. The booster recovery ships returned to Hangar AF Sunday morning with both solid rocket boosters in tow. Preliminary inspections indicate that the boosters are in excellent health and routine assessments begin today.

Technicians have finished draining Endeavour's auxiliary power unit fuel system. Modification to the orbiter's environmental and life support system is under way. Endeavour's robot arm is being tested prior to being turned around for flight.

In the Space Station Processing Facility, inspections on the external top of the MPLM are complete and the module was recently rotated for inspections on the bottom.

Workers have completed orbiter maneuvering system cross feed line flushing. Today, Columbia's window No. 2 is being replaced. Checks on the water spray boiler and onboard atmosphere pressurization system are in work. Later this week, workers will upgrade Columbia's payload floodlights and replace window No. 1.

Shuttle Processing Note  (previous notes)

Technicians have completed inspections on Atlantis' main propulsion system 17-inch quick disconnects. Orbiter maneuvering system pod checks are ongoing and radiator checks are scheduled to occur this week.

Send a separate message to the same e-mail address with the instructions "subscribe ksc-press-release" for KSC-issued press releases. The instructions should be in the body, not the subject line, of the messages and should not include quotation marks. The system will confirm each subscription via e-mail.
