Note: (previous
notes) |
Space Shuttle Discovery is in excellent health today as the flight crew prepares for the first of two landing opportunities available at Kennedy Space Center Wednesday. With enough consumables available for two additional days on orbit, mission managers will not call for Edwards Air Force Base to support tomorrow.
The first KSC landing opportunity is at 12:46 p.m. and the second is at 2:23 p.m. Wednesday. Weather officials predict scattered clouds at 3,000 and 25,000 feet, winds from the east at 5 peaking to 8 knots, and a chance of showers within 30 nautical miles. |
