Shuttle Processing Note  (mission processing summary)

Work continues on schedule for the rollout of Space Shuttle Atlantis on Friday morning. KSC Shuttle system engineers in the launch control room successfully completed the Shuttle Interface Test this morning.

In the Vehicle Assembly Building, work continues to close-out the solid rocket boosters and install the systems tunnel covers. Tomorrow, workers will remove work platforms in VAB high bay 3 and complete final preparations for the Shuttle's move to Launch Pad 39A. After Atlantis returns to the launch pad, crews will transfer the partial STS-100 booster stack from storage in VAB high bay 2 back to high bay 3 on Saturday.
