Shuttle Processing Note (mission processing summary) |

Following
U.S. Lab installation yesterday, workers completed final inspections
inside Space Shuttle Atlantis' payload bay and then closed the payload
bay doors for flight. Orbiter aft compartment closeouts continue and
Shuttle ordnance installation began today. Technicians plan to install
the aft compartment doors Friday morning and ordnance installation
concludes tomorrow. Pressurization of Atlantis' onboard hypergolic
storage tanks occurs Thursday.

| Discovery's water tank checks are complete and forward compartment closeouts will conclude today. Tonight, workers will prepare the orbiter transporter for rollover operations. Weight and center of gravity tests are ongoing. Managers plan to transfer Discovery to the VAB Thursday evening. |
