Space Shuttle Endeavour arrived at Launch Pad 39A last Thursday afternoon and the prelaunch processing continues on schedule. Launch pad validations concluded Friday and Shuttle main engine flight readiness testing occurred Monday. The Shuttle's helium signature leak test concluded yesterday.
The STS-100 flight crew arrived at KSC yesterday at about 12:30 p.m. to participate in Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test activities. The exercise concludes tomorrow with a dress rehearsal and simulated emergency egress from Shuttle Endeavour's crew module. Loading of the orbiter's onboard propellant storage tanks begins April 2 and replacement of Shuttle mass memory unit No. 2 occurs April 5. |
