| At Pad B, launch processing operations for Shuttle Endeavour continue on schedule. Over the weekend, early stowage was completed, the replacement yaw actuator for main engine No.2 was tested successfully and the three EVA suits were installed and checked out in the airlock. Ordnance installation and connections are in progress and aft closeouts continue. No work is scheduled for the Thanksgiving holidays (Thursday and Friday). This weekend, preparations will get under way to start the final countdown, scheduled for 11 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26. The seven STS-108 crewmembers will arrive at KSC at 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25. |

Deservicing work on Orbiter Discovery is in process in the OPF as Shuttle managers continue to assess the content, schedule and location for the structural inspection and modification down period. The left orbital maneuvering system (OMS) pod has been removed and work is in progress to remove the right pod. Discovery will be rolled back for temporary storage in the Vehicle Assembly Building next week. |
