| In the Orbiter Processing Facility (OPF), the Extended Duration Orbiter pallet has been installed aboard Shuttle Columbia. Shuttle managers have made the decision to change out and retest a cold plate in Payload Bay 5 after several dings were discovered on the plate surface. Freon Coolant Loop No. 2 will be drained today to accommodate the cold plate changeout. Columbia will remain powered down until the cold plate is re-installed and the two freon loops are
reserviced. |
