Processing Note (previous notes) |
| Processing continues for Atlantis' launch to the International Space Station. Demonstration welds continue prior to starting the work on the cracks in the orbiter's Main Propulsion System (MPS) liquid hydrogen flow liners. Welding repairs are scheduled to take place beginning early Friday morning and continue through Saturday. Polishing of the microscopic rough edges of the holes on the downstream flow liners for all three engines is complete. Technicians will continue to polish the upstream holes using the same procedure. Following successful welding repairs, engine installation is scheduled late next week. Fuel cell single cell voltage test is complete.
